I'm pretty sure I got a test sleeve of these last fall. Loved both the length and the soft feel. I jokingly requested two dozen more for testing...no response! Seriously these balls were awesome. I will be purchasing these for play this season.

    Huddersfield,

Is this the ball that TT members tested before Christmas? If so, it’s good. :-)
  3. I think these are the "Test" balls I received last november. If they are, I loved them. As long (longer for me) as the pro-v1 and just as much spin on approach shots. The writing and dimple pattern looks the same. I'm headed down to AZ next month with a new dozen tour soft. I'll post impressions.

Tried the new Tour Soft on Thur in mid 40 degree weather, and did not get anymore distance than the Crome soft X I have been playing, also about the same around the green. It did have a good feel off the putter. I changed from the Prov1 to crome soft X because of price. I am 71 years old and a 4 handicap. I got more distance from the crome X than Prov1, and it performs around the green well. Still play my 716 AP1's though.

I looked at Tour Soft yesterday —- I don’t believe it’s a replacement for the AVX because it’s a two piece ball with a huge core as opposed to the three piece AVX. Doesn’t make Tour Soft a bad ball but I bought another dozen AVX instead.

Played a sleeve this week and I am hooked (which is better than being sliced!). Has the compression of an NXT and considerably more feel. Good control around the green. Not a ton of backspin action on the green but stopped better than the NXT, and that works for me. Feels great coming off the club and seemed to stay in the fairway on tee shots.

I bought a dozen yellow and 2 dozen white. Yesterday I played my first round with the Tour Soft. I played the front 9 with last year’s NXT Tour S (yellow) and the back 9 with the Tour Soft (yellow). Both balls felt about the same, but the Tour Soft seemed to carry a little further on my iron shots (less than 1/2 a club), but it’s action on approach shots & around the green was better. It’ll take a few more rounds for me to decide and I want to try the Tour Soft (white) versus last year’s NXT Tour (white). However, I liked it’s performance.

"Tour" I'd like to see which Pro V1 users on tour who will switch seems to me this ball "Tour Soft" is competition to the cally Chrome Soft which some Pro's are using.. curious to see, can't wait to hit this one ..

Haven't played the Tour Soft ball .... will purchase a sleeve very soon to put it to 'my' test. Other balls are on my list to test as well....LOVE Titleist balls but gotta keep that distance 'thing' in mind -- 70 yrs old and still playing 6000-6200 yd courses. And of course, I AM NOT getting any longer :(

Bought a box this week and have them stowed away until our local weather (South Jersey) evolves into something north of 60 degrees. Until then I've opted for something that feels more like a golf ball and less like a rock. Speaking of which if you're like me and play in 30/40 degree weather, you have to give the DT TruSoft ball a try. I've compared these to a few of the low compression balls I like to play during the winter such as cally's Supersoft, Superhot 55 & 70, Volvik and Titleist Velocity. It took me by surprise when the TruSoft averaged 5 to 15 yards longer than the others. At $22 it's a winner! t will be Interesting to see how well it performs when the weather gets warmer.

Hope you will send new ball out.i played the last sleeve but found it similar to true soft ball
  12. I’ve played the new Tour Soft and like it very much. Long and straight off the tee (very low compression I’m sure) with good stopping results around the greens.

Saw some a couple days ago. If they replaced the NXT, that is not good since they are priced the same as all their other balls. Was nice to have a more economical choice.
  14. Been playing Pro V1 and NXT Tour S for years. Tested these balls a while back and really liked them. Also like the fact that they are available in optic yellow. Purchased some and will tee them up tomorrow.

Why does Titleist need another ball? Pro V1 and Pro V1x are the best ever made. Made for every golfer regardless of capability.

Why does Titleist need another ball? Pro V1 and ProV1x are the best balls ever produced. Every handicap can use them.
  18. At some point we’ll realize that it’s not the ball or the equipment, it’s us. Amazing that every year golf companies come out with clubs and balls that guarantee more distance...10, 15, 20 extra yards, EVERY YEAR! Really? If that were the case, why aren’t the pros hitting their drives 450 yards by now? It’s marketing, I get it....it sells product. Doesn’t matter about the balls or clubs, we’ll still shoot the same scores over and over again. It’s some of the great scores and shots that brings us back to play the next 18. Stick with a ball and clubs that have already served you well, sharpen your skills and forget all the hype and marketing. It costs too much!
    Have a great 2018 season!
  19. Love and sticking with Titleist, the #1 golf company on the planet regardless of how I play.

My current ball of choice is the Titleist DT True Soft and I want to be the first on Oahu to try the Tour Soft! Currently there are no ball fittings scheduled for Hawaii and hopefully my club pro shop will receive an order for the new ball soon so I can try it and compare with the DT True soft!
