52, 56 and 60 work for me but I would add that "bounce" is more a consideration than degree. For example, I play four season golf where conditions dictate which wedges to carry. During the July/August months fairways are hard and tight and the sand "gives." Spring and fall, just the opposite. Wet turf and heavy "low tide" sand. In the winter, turf is generally scruffy and sand more hard soil like. The result is that I change off wedges based on conditions. As to favored wedges I have always tended to lean to Cleveland. Vokeys in my experience are wonderfully crafted but to me they perform better in the hands of low handicap players. I need more forgiveness for my not so perfect efforts.

I have tried Cleveland wedges but definitely prefer Vokeys especially around the greens.... wedges are like putters, very personal choice.

I play with AP3. The set comes with P at 43 and a wedge at 48 so I added a Vokey 56 at first.
I can play my 56 around 95-105y...still trying to work on that wedge and get it around +/- 5y if possible.

After a few rounds, I realized there can be a 20y+ difference between my 48 and 56 so I added another Vokey 52 recently.

Playing with a 4 wedge system can be beneficial if my carry and distance for the wedges can be more consistent. I find myself play the 52 and 56 the most now.

  15. My game changed when I started using 4 Vokey wedges with accurate distance gaps. I have just bought 4 new SM7 Raw at 46, 50, 54 60 which is a slight change from the SM6 where I was 46, 51, 56, 60. This was all down to the numbers and carry distances.

    Used to always carry a 50, 56( bent to 55) and a 60
However after swapping to full titeleist it changed the make up of my bag a bit.
Before this week it used to be
    718cb p wedge, 54* sm7, 60* sm7

    However as of this week 48* sm7, 54* sm7, 60* sm7.

I noticed I am more precise with the vokeys also I have the ability to play more with distance for instance gapping in my bag:

    60* sm7: 60-75 meter
    54* sm7: 75-95 meter
    48* sm7: 95-115 meter

After that my 718 cbs kick in starting at 9 iron.

Noticed having this set up for me is met to dropping a lot of shots.

    Hope you find yours!
