Here's a few pictures of what I was talking about.
Had The Bench burger this past Saturday at The Bench At Pebble.
Next is the Prime Rib Beef Chili from The Tap Room, then the Chocolate Sundae. The sundae is so big that four of us guys couldn't finish it after having lunch.
The blacken fish tacos and tater tots from Sticks At Spanish Bay

I'm mostly a burger guy and one of the best I ever had was at Lake Arrowhead in Waleska, GA. Brutally tough course too. Another favorite is the french dip at TPC Myrtle Beach. My son swears by the chicken fingers and fries, says they're the best he's ever had.

The local municipal course where I play has great offerings, but my favorite is something the call a "Chucken". Yeah my creation! Grilled chicken with grilled onions, honey mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, on Texas toast with onion rings on the side. They grill the chicken with vinaigrette dressing. Melts in your mouth. Their burgers are to dye for but I try to stay away from the red meat. They also serve awesome wraps, doing a great lunch business for non players and are very reasonable. Some of the best in Charleston.

I love these kind of threads! My favorite grill is at Inverness Club in Toledo, OH and the nut ball dessert is AMAZING. If you haven't had a good nut ball ice cream dessert, you haven't lived.

    And now I'm hungry ...

    I am so hungry now!

Need to mention the clam chowder at the shack at Caledonia. Sooo tasty. What a great mid round treat.

A couple years ago I'm playing as a guest with friends at Minocqua Country Club in Minocqua, WI. At the turn my buddy and his son in law stop at the clubhouse for a pit stop. His son and I continue on to #10 tee. We tee off and wait. After 10 minutes, or so they come out and he hands me a box. Inside is a puller pork sandwich on a pretzel roll that is so fresh it melts in my mouth. I had to eat it holding it in a golf towel, sauce and juice dripping all over. Minocqua CC is northwoods gorgeous, but I'd go back just for the darned sandwich!!!

Can't ever go wrong with a BLT and an Arnold Palmer!
  10. The best golf course meal I've ever had was the result of dumb luck & being in the right place at the right time.

We were open for a random day this past November, and I had just finished a cold, "junkie-esque" afternoon round, when I decided for a celebratory beverage inside before heading home. Little did I know that the chef served meatloaf the night before as a part of a thanksgiving inspired meal pairing... and just as I sat down inside, he came around the corner with his personal lunch. A mouth watering, midwestern classic - the day after meatloaf sandwich/melt. I think he could literally feel my eyes beaming with jealousy, when he turned and said "You know you want one..."

Not exacty sure what went in to making it, but it was the most comforting, meaty, cheesy, melty, hunk of goodness that I have ever tasted at a golf course... hands down!
  11. I Used to work at Beatrice country club and the restaurant attached to the clubhouse called classics had the best Cheeseburger and fresh cut fries

Here's the Kobe Brie Burger and Truffle potato wedges from The Tap Room.

This wasn't at a Golf Course but this is the biggest chili cheese dog with fries that I've ever had in my life!
