Well the votes are in and counted, I voted for Washington State as many times as I could but we only got 1% of the vote and came in 22nd place. I can and would like to represent Washington at the event in California. It is just I-5 south and some hours of windshield time.

Looks like Mass came in T3. Should Flordia do a recount? Maybe some hanging chads got counted...

    Mike,

Been very busy juggling work and my son's Junior World Qualifying series.  He qualified easily and things should calm down after the tournament July 15-18.  Wish him luck.

Good to see California made it!!!

No doubt Josh is right here.  Local pollsters say that there were multiple reports of voter fraud in south Florida.  All the snowbirds from MA still voting in Florida getting counted in FL instead of MA.  This needs to go to a re-count!

You should send Todd and I to FLA to represent MA in the recount.  Don't want any home cooking!

Todd and Josh - don't you guys get enough play on Acushnet's nickel up there? LOL  Acushnet needs to spend more time in Texas anyway. Perhaps they should build another plant down here - no state income taxes, lower land costs, lower labor costs, plenty of cattle.....

Freddie - Josh and I would challenge you and Ted anytime, anywhere!  Plus, I owe you a rematch from last year - it was too dark to really count the 18th hole.

Hi Mike, any updates on the Team Titleist Invitational?  I am hoping that I would receive the "golden TT" ticket to the event.

Hope you and the team are enjoying your summer so far.

Out to the RI State Am tomorrow and Wednesday at Quidnessett CC, wish me luck, I think I will need it to make it to match play.

    DR. K

Doc,let me guess. You attended UT, right? Manziel's a 20 year old kid! He's young, dumb and full of himself. Yes, he was raised in a wealthy home and feels a bit superior to the rest. However, this latest incident might just "wake him up" and knock him off of that perch he's been standing on. Still, what one does at age 20 shouldn't affect him any more than Cam Newton was affected by what he did at Florida. Furthermore, if an NFL team feels Manziel has the skills to make them more successful, they will try him out. It won't be wasted $$$ though as the NFL makes so darn much money, it'll be a no more of a waste than Ryan Leaf was.

That won't stop people from asking for Manziel's head on a platter. Some people just can't have a good day unless they can bring down "the mighty"

As for Jordan Speith, I've known him since he was 10 years old and he is a decidedly different person than Manziel. Jordan is a truly good guy with a level head, that KNOWS he can play golf, and will play golf with anyone, not just celebrities.

Dr. K - you do have your own cross to bear with the Irish. LOL One thing that occurs to me is at least Manziel provided something of value that was his to give, unlike the Terrell Pryor and his guys at OSU. The NCAA may have to concede that, given the amount of money the schools make on the names of their players, the payers should be able to make money with their own names. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Still, am I the only one that would like to get fellow TT members together for a "playday" on our own? For example, are any of  the TT members in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area interested in doing this? We could also do it in the Austin area and open it to all TT members in Texas.

Fellow Mass./R.I. golfers here is a link to a new thread so we can try to get a local and informal meet-up on the books. As our good friend Michael Breed says, "Let's do this!".

The suspense of the Who, Where and When seems to have most us as giddy as kids waiting for Christmas Day. I am no exception and would love to get get a look at the 2014 gear Titleist will have on hand. Moreover, it would be great to get to put a few faces on the names we come across online.

This will cap off a wonderful year for Titileist and it's Team Titleist members. My game has been down lately but TT invitational will be fun. Hope to be one of the few. If not, congrats to all the chosen ones.

  79. Lets get a Team Titleist Local Event happening in Ohio for Fall Golf!  Anyone interested, if so send me a private message...maybe in Cincinnati or Columbus?

Yeah, the season is running out for some of you Northern states.  Your TT event may have to played indoors on a simulator if you get an early snow.

I have a feeling we'll be hearing the specifics + invitee list pretty soon.
