I bought my first Scotty last year and I've seen an improvement in my putting. After testing out many many putters I fell in love with the Newport 2.

The new concept X looks interesting and cool.

I used to putt with a golo until I found my unicorn putter. Now I putt with a Scotty Cameron Cali Del Mar. custom paint job and matador xl grey grip. I prefer having different weights depending on the season. Heavier in the summer, lighter in the winter.

Red X center shaft "lawsuit" 3 dot. Solid feel and love the alignment help the dots provide.

Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2.6 (Black Mist Finish) / 34" Length / Black Red Gold Matador - Medium Grip. Bought it about 5 years ago and haven't looked back.

    X5 R. Smooth as silk.
  6. Has to be the Tiger Woods Newport 2 GSS, that is a thing of beauty. I play a Select Newport 2 and that's probably the nearest I can get to it, only with deeper milled face and more cherry bombs on the back.

Its lighter than I'd prefer, but I love it.
  8. I have the detour.. had it a few years also used the x5 x7 and m2 newport but I always go back to my detour..
  9. I have changed from a mallet to a blade recently. The Newport Notchback is definitely one of my new favorites!

I prefer the Newport shape that just melts into the ground. I have gamed for some time now the pro platinum mil-spec. For me I can’t beat the feel of the carbon steel.

I have few of them. Previously, that was my Newport 2 blade that I prefered.
But last year I used the Newport 3 and I was very happy with it.
This year, I am trying the Fastback model.

During my vacation I used an older Newport 2 and I was surprised by the number of long puts made.

My conclusion, is they are all good but only things you must take extra care are the proper lenght for you and the correct weights for this lenghts.
For me, 34 inch and 15 gr. are optimum
  18. Started with a GOLO 5, but just didn't putt as well with a mallet style.
Switched to a Newport Select, and love it.

I currently have two Scotty’s. My trusty Newport 2.5 and a futura 7m. Both are great but I always go back to my Newport 2.5 every year.

Currently the one that seems to get the ball in the hole the most often has been the Newport. I have about 5 Scotty Cameron putters ... from blades to mallets, to even the "pizza box" futura putter. (my wife calls it the pizza box because of the size of the cover)
My stroke is more conducive to use a blade for the "inside, square to inside" stroke.
