Too long of a backswing?

    In my lessons and practice I've started shortening my backswing and I'm making better contact now. Haven't lost any distance and gained some on certain clubs. When I go back too far I get all out of position.

    A little pause in a big backswing gives. Me 2-4mph Extra SS.

    I had a long back swing as well. Took some lessons and my coach told me to feel like I don’t bring my hands higher than my shoulders. It just a feel thing, in reality I barely shorten my swing but it did help
