Nothing but FJ in this Acushnet loyalist: Pro/SLs, Icons, Dry Tours, FJ Flex, Tour S, Club Professionals, Club Casuals, Country Club Loafers and Boots for muddy conditions. With dress, casual and golf shoes, have have 28 pair for dress, work and play. Have tried all the other brands and these fit and wear the best. Out of the box and off to the course. Customer service, nothing but the best. Have always worn nothing but the best shoes and that has carried over to my golf shoes. Something my mother insisted on as a child. Like my friend from Spring, TX, some have been passed on to other worthy folks over time. Which is my favorite pair? FJ...... Of course a closet of FJ apparel and Titleist hats to match those beautiful shoes........

I rotate my FJ Icons and the Pro/Sl's. Best shoes I have ever owned and most comfortable for walking in.

  7. After reading this post I feel much better about myself and my 10 pairs of shoes!! I run the gambit here (3 Adidas, 4 FootJoy, 1 Ecco, 1 Sketchers, 1 Jordan) and it all really depends on if I intend on doing a lot of walking (which the Adidas Boost are great for), weather issues (all of my FootJoys are spiked and waterproof) or am I styling (get great comments about my Jordans plus I grew up in his era so they remind me of my b-ball shoes back in the day)! Thought I had a problem until I saw folks with numbers in the 20-somethings and realized I'm just beginning!! :-)

Only Footjoy for me. Being a traditionalist, I presently have every color/combo of Dryjoys available today, plus 3 or 4 pair of previous-season Sports. And, I just picked up a pair of the new Furys to go with certain casual outfits. I choose which pair to wear based on the outfit I have on for the day. I keep the best pairs in my locker at the club, plus another 6 pair in my garage, and I always have an older pair in the bed of my truck for days that the weather will put extra wear on my newer ones. Since the first pair of golf shoes I ever owned, nearly 50 years ago, until today, I have never worn anything other than Footjoy on the course.
