  1. I recently purchased the T-300 with graphite shafts - it took a few days to adjust to the added distance. The clubs are excellent and I am enjoying playing with them
  2. I was wondering if any one else is experiencing a delay with T100’s.
I placed an order on 9/20, was given an expected ship date of 9/30. Now 10/22 and sitting in JFK, headed to Florida for a week of golf, wishing I had my new clubs...

Determined I wanted the T200 to replace my AP1s and went into the simulator to test with different shafts. After viewing the results BAM. T200 with the AMT red reg flex...66 years old, 13 hcp(can’t putt).

Received my new irons October 18th. These are the most beautiful clubs out there. They perform like no other and look very good from the ground to your eyes. I was fit for the U 510 4 iron and that club is amazing. The ball explodes off the face. I was also fit for the T 200s 5 to PW and I dont have a negative thing to say. Once again Titleist you have shown that you make a phenomenal product.
  5. After a great afternoon, full bag fitting with Titleist Rep Brett Heber I went T200 5-GW, absolutely the best golf decision I made all year. Great to look down at and even better feel off the face. To top off my early Christmas present to myself I was fitted for TS3 driver, TS2 3 wood, 19 and 23 degree hybrid. Handicap trending further down and season low round 76 2 weeks ago.

Mine are being delivered today. Can't wait to play them Sunday afternoon!
  7. Titleist rep reached out, and checked on my order. Got my T100's. on Tuesday.
On Thursday it was 54 degrees with a 15mph wind, but trying to squeeze as much golf in, before winter arrives, as possible. New irons were great. Tough in wind, but they were soooo solid. Everything held its line, and shots I thought would tail off, stayed true. Love them.

I recently rounded out my bag with new irons, T200 (4-PW), and a U510 (3). I have been able to play with these irons through about four rounds of golf. These are the best irons (feel and control) that I have ever used. I am thrilled with these irons who complete a bag with TS woods, Volkey S7 wedges, and Cameron putter. I am really set.
  9. I was fitted for the t200's. By far the best golf decision I've ever made. Played my last 4 rounds of the year with them and those rounds were my best of the year. 73,73,74,75. My iron play has been holding me back for the past few seasons and I finally decided to do something about it. This was my first fitting. I wish I had done it sooner. Love the feel of these clubs. For the first time in my life I am confident with working the ball and being able to hit a straight ball as well. Cant wait until next year!
  10. Convert story here ( and a bit long of one at that ).

I had been gaming cally Apex Pros for the last few years since they came out in 2014. Played the X22 Tours before that and moving the the Apex Pros was a natural progression. I play to an 8/9 handicap and I hit a decent length on my irons. My Apex Pros were 3i thru PW and I'd normally hit the 3i with 200 or so carry on a KBS 110 Stiff shaft, standard loft, standard lie.

Being the end of the season, 3 weeks ago I decided to go through a swing fit session just to get my numbers as I had been hitting my irons well for the last half of the year. My last 6 rounds for example were 77, 79, 78, 81, 79, and 77 and could have been much lower if my pitching wasn't horrible ( but that's a different issue **grin** ). I walked in with absolutely zero intention of getting new irons and if I did, my default was to upgrade to the new Apex Pro 19's. How wrong I was.

When I went to my local fitter, we started with getting base lines on the 7 iron and did a 4 iron and PW just for some ranging data. For some data points, my 7i on the Apex Pros was spinning about 5500 and carrying 165 or so which I can confirm is my normal go-to distance. Dispersion was always a bit of an issue that I had learned to deal with. My normal shot shape is a nice descending draw but every once in a while there would be a block right or what I would call an aggressive draw where it starts on the same line as my normal descending draw and just keep on hooking.

While I was there, fitter had me run through the miz Swing DNA process and first problem found: recommended shaft weight was way higher than the 110's I was swinging. Started hitting some Apex Pro 19's and tried some different shafts and ended up with ProjectX 6.5 Rifled shafts at 125g being the sweet spot. I was hitting the AP19's about 10 yards further than my original set so while nice, not enough of a change for me to considering purchasing.

Then my fitter said the words that would end up costing me a bunch of money. "You have a really similar swing to mine and I just got some T100's, the Titleist heads. You should try them to see how you like them." I have since nicknamed him "the white rabbit" because he lead me down that rabbit hole until I ended up in Wonderland smoking god knows what and and spending god knows how much money ( as long as my wife doesn't know, I am good ) and hitting god knows how long on irons I just never saw coming. But I am getting ahead of myself. Back to the fitting.

So he gets out the T100 7i and I start swing. Feels fantastic no full contact but I wasn't feeling the off center strikes nor the sole interaction. I had a severe tendency to hit them low on the face. So then he pulls out the T200 7i and say's, "Let's try this. More of a players distance iron but you have hte swing speed to hit and even though you don't need the extra distance, it should help with forgiveness". "Surrrreeee" I think.

So I get and take a few practice swing. Feels good. Looks good. Love the offset, or lack therefore compared to my old clubs. Decide to give it a wack and bam, I swear to you it was like the clouds parted, flying unicorns with rainbows running out their butts flew buy, and I was immediately surrounded by small furry woodland creatures dressed in knickers giving me polite applause and a great strike. Ok, maybe not quite that furry, but man did that ball fly. Up, up, up and there was my baby draw. The ball jumped off the face like my son jumping off the bus on the last day of school. "Damn that felt good" I think to myself, followed by "WTF ( edited for mixed company " when I saw the distance: 185 carry.

"Is that right?" I asked the White Rabbit who at this point had turned into the Cheshire cat with a big ass grin on his face.

"Hit another one and find out"

So I did. And another. And another. And another....and so on and so forth. Average Carry 185, average spin 6800, dispersion shrunk to 1/2 the size of my old Apex Pros. And that was still with my occasional hard draw.

"Let me take a look at something" my new drug pusher says to me with his Cheshire grin. "I think you might need to go 1 or 2 degrees flat for the lie". I hand over the 7i like Golom handing over the one ring and I can feel myself start to hunch over whispering "my precious, my precious" as he adjust the lie to -1 flat. Can see much by the eye when he hands it back to me, but when I put it behind the ball, I can tell its a little more squared to ground. Take a few more swings and the left hussle is gone. As a bonus, got a couple more mph on ball speed as well. Purely this has to be a fluke, or a software glitch, or black magic.

No such luck. We hit the 4i as well jsut for fun. Well, not sure if it was fun or sheer morbid curiousity on my part but it sure was fun for my fitter as he watched me twitch like a heroin junking coming off a bender. Smack a ton and sure enough, I pass my old 3 iron in the air like Dustin Johnson's drive sailing over my 10 year old son's wedge shot. 215 carry, 4000 average spin. I can shot shape it anyway I want. And it's so damn smooth off the face.

It was then my heart sunk. I knew then I was buying them. Much like you know when that you are about to eat that last pizza slice is in the box when your wife told you not to. Yup, I'm in it to win it now. **sigh**

So I ended up buying a full set of T200's, no blending, 4iron through GW ( about 125 yard carry ) on ProjectX 6.5 shafts standard loft and -1 flat lie, which fits nicely with my 52deg, 56deg and 60deg SM6 Vokeys from a gapping perspective. Just got them in last week and I am doing a full back gap session on Saturday to adjust lofts as needed before heading to Hilton Head for 10 days of golf.

Love these damn things. I wonder if divorce attorneys take new iron recommendations as payment. I might need to find out.

As posted on team titleist I have the t300 irons and they are fantastic clubs if you see my other posts about the irons you will see that this is my second set in a month of t300 irons as tried a set of tm but had to purchase my second set of titleist t300 irons as the tm irons were nowhere near the quality or performance of the t300 irons
  12. Ordered a custom fitted T200 #5 to try before considering a change from AP1 716. I prefer to find out how the club plays on a course rather than on a mat in a pro shop. The club head size is quite a change..reminds me of my model 90 clubs from the 70's. The feel on the face was very good and dispersion much improved. Using a XP 95 shaft to match with my old clubs. The difference in head size helped focus on contact. Distance similar but accuracy was much better. Now have to decide on a split set or full T200 set.

I have a set of AP3 irons with the Nippon AMC 880 smoke finish that I love, but shoulder surgery has robbed me of some swing speed. While I hope to get it back as I continue to recover, I want to be playing the right equipment for my current swing. I picked up the T300 with the Tensei Red senior flex shafts and hit them on the range a couple of times before playing 9 holes with them the day before Thanksgiving. I was concerned the short irons would look too big and chunky at address, but after a couple of really nice approach shots with the 9 and PW I found they looked just right.

I could not be happier with them, and although my swing speed is not what it was I was hitting these close to the distance I hit my AP3 irons prior to tearing my rotator cuff. Just don’t tell my friends that, because I plan on leveraging the shoulder recovery to get a few more strokes in our Spring golf trip.

Just switched from old 704CBs to T200. Definitely straighter and longer 7 iron to AW. Mid to long irons not so much due to a low ball flight. Working on grooving a flatter swing plane to reduce the attack angle on the long irons, I definitely trap the ball. Tempted to bend them to add some more loft but I think I will wait and see if the swing changes will sort it out.

Just added T200 4-gw; replaced amt black with amt red in the long irons (4-7) and change has been immense!

I’m curious to see how and if any of y’all did a combo set?

I know the one of the boys on the Golficity YouTube channel went T200 and the 4i and 5i in the T300 and the other got the T200 but with adjust lofts (he fit into both T100 and T200 but went with the forgiveness)

  17. Has anyone played the T100 with a DG S300 instead of the AMT White S300? I tried the iron in stock and it wasn't to my liking. I hit a different iron with DG S300s and it was no contest. O e got a split set of CB and MB irons (non Titleist) and hit them well but the shafts aren't for me. I'm looking to upgrade and the T100 looks and feels great.
  18. I just got fitted for a set of T200 irons yesterday. Can’t wait for them to come in. Really looking forward to putting them to use with my AVX balls.
  19. Really love the feel of the T200's I hit the T300's was not a fan of the bulkier club head. I am now torn between the Project X LZ shaft and the True Temper AMT Black S300 shafts. My T2 driver and 3 wood have the Project X even flow shafts and I LOOVE them both. Can anyone on here give me some feed back on the difference between the two shafts?
  20. Just switched from AP2 2016 with TI x100 to T100 with Modus Extra Stiff 130’s. Needed something to get the ball up a little better. The T100 seems to be 20-25% more forgiving. Modus shafts def help the feel and get the ball up better. Distances are not really difference but mishits carry -5 yards vs -10 to pure strikes vs the 716 ap2 which is great. I hit my 6 iron 185. I am 5 handicap and have been as low as a 2 just not playing as much. Hit the T200 and considered them for 4-5 iron but just too big, offset and clunky for me. Actually bought them and will be selling them. Sound and feel was definitely different vs pure feeling from T100 but a lesser handicap probably wouldn’t care. If you like the smaller head, less offset etc go with T100 as it was a solid improvement over the AP2 2016 irons which are still great clubs!

Hope this helps anyone trying to make a decision and understand the new models a bit.
  21. I have been playing the T100-S for 2 weeks. I came from the 712CB which i thought was the best club Titleist ever invented.

I lightened my shaft to the DG120 S300 and picked up a 1.5 club lengths. The versatility of the T100-S is impressive. Its very stable, allows me to hit low stingers when needed and the look at address is perfect.

I will say a high toe miss does not feel so good, but you are not punished as much as i thought. I play to a 9 HDCP and am still getting used to the new sticks, but so far I am glad i made the change from the 712 series and i only hope my scores start to drop a little bit. So glad I made the purchase.
