XP 95 stiff on my 714 ape's for me Chuck.  Great post as I just got a new set of 714 MB with s300 DG in them.  My instincts were they were too heavy and am going to go with the XP 95's on those also.

Dynamic Gold S300. I love the ball flight characteristics it gives me.

i currently play the 714 AP2's with the UST Recoil 110 F4...absolutely love the feel and lightweight of the shaft.

I play 714 ap2s with its tour shafts in stiff and love everything about them 

I play DGS300s. I'd like to try something else, but I'd want to get custom fitted and I just don't have the funds to do so. I have swung my friends clubs with C-Tapers and they are quite nice.

I use the project x 6.0 in my 714 AP2's. I use them because they keep my spin rate and ball flight down so it doesn't ballon!

KBS Tour 90 Stiff - Love the feel of them given their weight from my old set. Definitely help hit a higher ball, just need to tune them in a bit more!

I'm playing KBS Tour Black Nickel shafts with my 712 AP2's.

I suggest getting fitted to get the right shaft for your setup.

Dynamic Gold X100, X-Stiff

I have played the True Temper S300 in my irons for over thirty years.  That's how I roll.

KBS Tour Stiff (soft stepped 1x) in my 714 AP2's. Really like the feel and the soft step plays a little closer to the s300 I had been used to. 

KBS Tours.  Good feel and ball flight.  

I played Project X for a long time and they fit and performed very well for me, but with having arthritis, a less than perfect strike with the PX was pretty jarring and hard on my joints.  I've since switched from PX to KBS Tour V.  The Tour V gives me a fairly similar ball flight, but the feel isn't quite as crisp as the PX which is great early on in the season when I'm trying to shake the rust off and will catch a ball a little thin.  

Love the feel of the KBS C-Taper but they hit it higher than the X-100, which I can't afford. So it's plain old X-100's for me!
