ProV1 for me. It gives me the best combination of performance and feel. It is the best ball for my game.

I go back and forth with ProV1 and ProV1x. I tend to use ProV1 more often though.

Just curious of what golf ball everyone plays. Many balls suit a specific kind of someone’s golf game. For me, I play the Titleist Pro V1. It has soft feel, more spin around the greens, great distance, and even a good ability to shape the ball as well.

I really like the TM TP5X. Anyone know how it compares to the ProV1X?

Nothing compares to the ProV1x from another company. That’s why the ProV1 & ProV1x are by far the most played balls on and off the tours.

  7. Got a dozen TruFeel balls for my birthday (with the TT Triple track), took them out on the course yesterday and absolutely loved the feel. The soft feel on contact was brilliant and when I struck them well it added a lot of distance to my game that had been lacking when using other second hand balls. As a high handicap golfer I don't I have the skills yet to really unlock the ProV1/ProV1X potential so the TruFeel feels like a great compromise for feel / price.

If I could hit the V1 with my driver and the X with everything else, I'd be complete.

Maybe try dialing down the loft on your driver or even going to a lower lofted one next time. That might do the trick for you. That's what I did. Titleist always recommends you do your ball fitting from the green back to the tee. If you need spin on short shots and iron height the X will be best and then you can dial in the right driver to get your optimal flight from the tee.

I am a big fan of the Titleist AVX. I am an average to shorter hitter (off the tee for sure) now that I am definitely on the back nine of life. The added distance that the AVX gives with the same quality that I am used to from Titleist is very welcome. You folks give updating the ball to add more green side spin which is also very welcome!!!

Pro V1X- I like the extra height.
  12. Changed ball after getting fit for clubs. Best thing I ever did was hit different balls with clubs that fit my swing. ProV1 gave me the feel, spin, flight and distance for consistent descent angle through all the clubs in my bag. Get fit for clubs, get fit for the ball too!

I love the flight and spin of the Pro V1X.
  14. AVX for. I love the flight, spin control, and feel when putting.
  15. I enjoy playing the Yellow Titleist AVX. I switched from the Pro V1x last year and seem to get more feel and workability out of the AVX.
  16. ProV1X is the ball for me. I have tried almost all brands and models at one time or another, but the Titleist ProV1X is the ball for me. The control that I have with this ball is one of the main reasons, additionally I get the most accurate distance with it.
  17. ProV left-dash, great click on the irons, grab around the greens, distance off the tee - most under-rated ball in the line up

I use the proV1 most the time but will sneak a sleeve of AVX once in a while. I think the new AVX is vastly improved over previous version.
  19. Been playing the Pro V1 left dot this year and I'm very impressed. The straightness from the woods and long irons is impressive.

I’ve been a convert from TM. Used to play TP5x but have been playing Pro V1x this year. I’ve considered dabbling with the left dash, but I do love the X thus far - sadly so do those trees
