Looking forward to getting them, I tried out the Chrome Soft X yellow just to see how I liked playing with a yellow ball. As others have said, I find I can track the flight a lot easier.

Just waiting for the 4 for 3 and free custom numbers / wording offers....

I have been asking about a yellow Pro V1 for years now. And it's finally here! I cannot wait to get my hands on a yellow Pro V1x and tee it up! I've been using the yellow offerings by Titleist for a while now (NXT Tour S, DT Solo) and have discovered that they're so much easier to see than the white golf balls. Thanks so much Titleist!
  3. Yes I am going to try them out. I can see the yellow a lot better than the white, and I am comfortable with the look.

    Yes,

As I keep the balls on the fairway, the yellow balls are easier to find ;)

I can't wait to pick my Pro V1x Yellow up on the 15th. I plan on putting them into play immediately.

They are a Prov, worth giving a try. Trying to pick out my white golf balls has never been an issue on the course but will see what happens.

Looking forward to playing the Pro V1x yellow. I'm sure they will raise my concentration level up a notch.

I've been waiting on this release forever! I cannot wait, Rick! Hopefully these will be available in the spring promo 4 for 3. This is the final feather in the Titleist golf ball cap! Congrats to the entire Team for bringing these great balls to the masses! #TeamTitleist

I have not really used colored balls on the past, but I am picking up a box if those yellow ProV1xs once the course is open.
  11. Played the yellow AVX last fall. Loved it! Now I will be playing the ProV1 yellow on par 3's.

Well, it is pretty obvious it won't go further, but I can track it further and find it easier, especially in the rough. I have limited depth perception, so I will focus better than if for no other reason I won't have to walk back and forth as much trying to find a ball I couldn't see where it landed. More time to plan my next shot.

These don't have to be for everybody - but it is for me. Anyone can stay with white if that is their preference.

Over the last 5 years and adding to countless threads asking for a yellow Pro V, I've tried almost all other amber balls with no satisfaction. Huzzah!

I can't see using that color until my first round in hell. Just saying.
  14. I don't yellow Pro V1x is going to shave any strokes off my game (or let me bang it like Bubba) but a yellow ball is just easier to see in almost any conditions. I personally think the trend toward acceptance of yellow golf balls among even many better players is plain old progress. Yellow just works better than white when playing an outdoors game over a hundred-acre course. I'll bet 20 years from now white golf balls won't be the "normal" golf ball color any more.
  15. I just ordered some yellow V1s. Just wanted something a little different than most players. I don’t think they perform any differently. Someone on here said they thought it felt and sounder a little harder than white ones but I’m not sure. Good luck
  16. I have played 3 rounds with the yellow Pro V1. Noticeably harder than the white ball and the cover is slippery in your hands. Chips don’t seem to check the same. Putting a line on the ball with a marker also an issue - it smudges. The color and markings have not faded at all - these don’t discolor like the white ones which is nice.

I should qualify this by saying I still play the 2017 Pro V1 (I still have a few dozen) so that is the ball I am comparing the new yellow ball to.
  18. Just made the switch last week! Love the new color!

I made the switch to the yellow Pro V1x, too. I don't see me ever going back.............. Just so much easier to see!
  20. Played a couple rounds recently at a course with a LOT of sand. Bunkers like the old Mastercard ads, they are "Everywhere You Want To Be".

It was pretty obvious whether my yellow Pro V1x ended up in a bunker or not even from 100+ yards away with my not so young eyesight. Other guys were playing white balls that couldn't be seen until I was much closer.

Not that it matters in the end, you gotta play it where you find it. But it's a nice little advantage to the yellow that you can easily spot it and start planning your shot as you're walking.
  21. I find the yellow golf balls are easier to find than the white ones and I play the yellow ones keep up the good work titleist golf balls are the best on the market
