I am currently gaming SM7's and was wondering if anyone had moved from them to the SM9's and what performance improvements they offer. Also I did the self evaluation from Titleist and it determined I should be using the D grind. I currently have M grind. Also is there any word on when the SM10's may be available. Would hate to buy a new set of 9's and then the 10's come out the next month.

Talked to my fitter and our local Titleist rep who I work with at events. Bought SM9 52.08F and 56.10S wedges and really love them. Also have a SM7 58.12D which I had used as a lob and sand wedge. Based on recommendations by both the 56 is a better all round wedge for me from the sand and fairway. Has lived up to their recommendation. Sand game has really improved. Have heard nothing on the next cycle of Vokey wedges. Play T300s 5-W and these are the only two additional wedges I use (52 and 56).
  3. Titleist releases their wedges on a 2-year cycle so the 10s should come out February/March of 2024. I personally do not have SM9 wedges (I buy new wedges every other cycle and am on the evens so have SM8 will go to SM10 at some point in their cycle) but depending how often you play, I'd say go for it. Wedges take quite a beating over time and having fresh wedges with fresh grooves will definitely help. To me, every other cycle is a perfect balance of getting your money out of your clubs while still taking advantage of new wedges with new tech.
