  1. I know what I am doing when it comes to extending clubs, my confusion comes when knowing which extensions to buy? There’s so many options and a few different sizes. I am looking to extend my two vokey wedges by one inch, but I don’t know what the butt size of the shaft is. Also, what type of extensions do it get plastic, steel or aluminium and ones that are double extensions or pre-cut. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Last thing if I extended them that should increase the lie angle of the clubs making them more upright , right?

When considering making any alterations to your Vokey wedges, I would recommend that you take them to a certified Titleist dealer/repair shop in your area. Any alterations that you do can void the warranty on the clubs. They can also ensure the the angle and lie is correct. I always take mine to the dealer/repair shop for alterations because they are the experts, whether the clubs are new or old. With respect.

With all due respect, you say that you know what you are doing when it comes to extending clubs, yet, you are asking an awful lot of questions. I'd take Chuck's advice.
  4. I would see a fitter and see if it is necessary- there is some confusion on the "extending them makes them more upright" yes and no - if you want them more upright because you are pushing the ball on your full swings and chips you can just bend the clubs more upright. If the rest of you irons are +1" then matching them up makes sense. When you extend the club you effectively flatten your swing while the club will sit more upright at address (toe high) if you shorten the clubs your swing becomes more upright but the club flattens (toe down) its confusing, but think of it like this - what does your swing look like when you swing a junior club vs what a kid's swing looks like when he swings an adult club.

One inch increase in length will increase playing lie 2 degreed so to play the same as before you would adjust 2 degrees flatter- the maximum Titleist recommends for their clubs.

I kinda disagree with this when it comes to Vokey wedges...the lie angle on Vokey wedges are the same as stock Titleist PW lie angle but gap wedges are 1/4 inch shorter, SW are 1/2 inch shorter, and lob are 3/4 inch shorter. So as an example, I order my Vokey wedges longer to be the same as my stock PW without adjusting lie angle.

Also think of the swing weight. I was fit for my SM7s and have the same shaft throughout the bag while also 1" long. Mine were ported to get the swing weight back near the chart. My irons are roughly D8 and even with the porting my wedges are E3.

And agreeing with what the others said, you should get the lie angles checked too.

Soon, I have seen some literature from our sales rep. They will probably be released to the public near the end of January.
