  1. So what’s your preference?

I’m considering ditching the stand bag and going full time on a cart bag and trolley

I’ll continue with the stand bag for a quick 9 holes or range practice.

I’m waiting for the new 2020 gear to be released so I can take a pick and also have the TT logo on the bag

  2. Trolley for me, I find I play much better when I use trolley

Trolley for me most of the time.
I have the 2019 stadry bag which is still light and has loads of pockets.
    Saves your back too!

  10. Trolley seems to be winning here, I’m beginning to feel aches now so may invest before any damage is done

I've used a trolley for last 6 years since I carried in the rain and I think it caused my waterproof jacket to leak.

Since I was selected for this seasons bag test I've carried for the winter and have quite enjoyed it, as you don't have to follow all the cart/buggy routes and personally I think carrying speeds up play.

On the negative side I do think it can affect your overall round score as you use more energy and I find getting to clubs on the lower layer of the bag harder to extract than when on the trolley. So I've been experimenting with moving club location in the 5 sections....

Glad you got to review the bag as your head is screwed on tight and everything you say makes total sense.

Just keep posting certain things as they come up like you have been much appreciated.

    Thanks AntD

    Huddersfield,

Powakaddy and cart bag in the main and then a carry bag in the winter as we generally only play 14 hole comps through the off season
  14. Always a carry bag - I may not come away feeling good from the golf (as happened today in blustery winds) but at least I have got some exercise! It’s also nice to not have to walk the long way around greens and tees that have been cordoned off in winter as well as not having to stay on paths etc.

  17. Just depends I sometimes haven't the room for my trolley so either my stand or my Sunday bag get rammed in the car lol.

  18. If I play only 9 I can manage to carry a Sunday bag and 8 clubs. For 18 holes I have to use a golf buggy, in which case it’s everything including the kitchen sink.
P.S. Has anyone managed to fit a bbq to a golf buggy?

Depending on the weather that day, I prefer to use a trolley.

Go back to when I started playing at 11 up to 5 years ago, it was to carry. Now by using a trolley I can take more in the bag and I'm not loading/unloading 10kg multiple times per hole.

I feel I have more energy and less aches with a push trolley and it has its benefits all year round.

I prefer to use my trolley as much as possible but also carry for a quick 10 holes with half a set.
I’ve carried quite a bit during the winter this year as some courses don’t allow trolleys and I’m testing one of the new Titleist bags out.
