  1. Today I went to upgrade my wedges from sm6, with the intention of placing orders for the sm8. Whist I was hitting some shots in the net I also tried other brands. I must say they don’t even come close compared to Titleist, looks, feel nothing compares,

Anyway i digress , i ended up with absolute bargain for shiney new SM7 and a free hat!

So what’s new in your bag for 2020?

Picked this mint Scotty Studio Select Newport 2 Tour up and will be gaming it for a bit.

I prefer the Newport shape and the 'softer bumpers' but happy to use this for the time being.

So far the only new addition to my bag this year has been RAIN....

Second TS2 Hybrid and upgrade of SM7's to SM8's (pending fitting) are also on the cards....

PS: Forgot the Titleist Beanie, Towel and Cart Gloves I got for Xmas 2019 but they were on for the round 30th December...

    Huddersfield,

Had a few changes in my bag over the past few months. Decided to change my irons with a view of getting AP2’s last summer. Had a fitting with a Titleist rep and decided to wait, then the T range came out and didn’t get on with them for some reason. Ended up going for png i210’s.
Ironically I changed my png wedges to SM7’s. They’re lovely things!

I’m changing everything except putter to Titleist.

    So far I’ve got a 10deg TS3 driver fitted with a Tensai stuff shaft and T100 5-PW with Project X 5.5 shafts.

Awaiting delivery of Vokey SM7 wedges at 50, 56 and 60 with same shaft spec. Can’t wait.

Then going back to get fitted with a fairway and most likely a U510 4 iron all dependant on gapping.

I have added the TS2 19 degree hybrid so far and will be adding SM8's!

Need a new umbrella too so when the new gear comes out I will be on that!
  17. I’ve decided today not so much of “what’s new in the bag for 2020”
    But a new bag altogether
Going for the new jet black mid staff

SM8's for me and possibly a 4 iron. Have used a 23 degree hybrid for a while but my son got a set of AP1's for his birthday and I am more consistent with the 4 iron from that set than my hybrid.

Have you tried the U510 utility? I’m going for a fitting tomorrow and will definitely be adding either a 4 or 5 utility. I hit a couple of shots with one of these weeks ago and it was phenomenal. So easy to use compared to a 4 iron from the set. Would recommend trying if you haven’t already...
  20. Given all barring my Scotty were new in October/November, there is limited scope (and budget that I’d get away with!) for 2020. Balls definitely, umbrella maybe, new travel cover for the clubs (only if I go somewhere) but the next “major” purchase might be another Scotty - I have kept my old set should my 14 year old ever do a U turn and decide to be interested but it lacks a putter so does give me a future excuse.....

I was intending on waiting for the sm8’s to come out to upgrade my sm5’s but today I had a wee nosey around my local golf shop and came out with a great deal on sm7’s..................why can’t I come there empty handed.......

  24. Happy with the bats at present, though I might have a twiddle with the TS3 driver shaft. I've got SM7's and I'll try the new SM8's but I'm quite relaxed about changing up. Possibly a case of marginal improvements as SM7's are phenomenal. SM7's are without doubt the best wedges I've ever tried.
The new StaDry 15 bag - in the black - might very well be a serious consideration. 9 pockets and improved design yet all less than 3kilo. Well done Titleist.
One caveat - would go for a Scotty Circle T if I could find a nice model that I could afford/justify!!
