  1. Was injured the other week whilst playing golf! A small sharp stone flew up from my divot and stuck in my eye! Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Had a shard of metal in my eye at work , which did similar, but never had a chipping bounce up on the course so far , have seen plenty slip over and graze themselves over the years though

Oh wow that's a sore one mate. My buddy was hit in the face with a ball once at the corner of his eye socket. the noise still gives me shivvers when I think about it
  4. Wow- never seen or heard of that, hope its recovered before the season starts?
During 2019 - I experienced for the first time ever golfers/tennis elbow recently and i can say its the most annoying/painful injury i have had. It came suddebly and after nearly 6 months went suddenly......how does this happen..... I do compress the ball alot and went to the range quite a few times off mats, maybe the reason

    Anyway, a quick recovery Terence

I am having an on-going problem with my wrist where I have a sharp pain for a couple of weeks after playing golf but it's ok when I play. No idea what to do to get it to stop as I've had the same swing since I started, highly annoying having to take a 1-2week break from golf each time I play.

Tennis / golfers elbow is also know as repetitive strain injury, it’s caused by doing the same movements over and over again using the same muscles all the time , with not enough rest in between, one is on the inside of the elbow , the other is on the outside

    Ouch, that looks nasty...
I've strained this and that over the years and got cuts & bruises from the most improbable sources (trees, trolley, bag, stab with tees/pitch repairer/pencil) but nothing drastic. Keep a range of plasters just in case...
My worst was retrieving my OB ball. I slipped on the sea wall and slithered in almost undignified manner all the way down to the beach below, bruising knees & hips, taking the skin off my arms & elbows and bleeding all over the place. Most damage was done to my dignity.
Watched my pal run over another pal with a buggy (all survived!)...
Years ago, a chap was hit on the head with a golf ball and his mum made him play wearing a crash helmet!
For a non-contact sport, there's a lot of Risk out there.
