Just a heads-up but if you haven't got one of these I thoroughly recommend getting one. You can just keep it in the bag or clip it on and it works. Used mine at the weekend when I forget the bag cover, and it's great.

  2. Cool ! Have yout got a picture for this heads-up?

Thanks Martin, and I guess if you just use it as a bag towel it's kept dry!

Hey guys! I completely agree with Martin!

I have had one for the past two seasons and I just love it! Works like a charm in keeping my clubs dry during some rain (I prefer using it over my bag hood). Out here in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington and British Columbia) we get ample amounts of rain so it is a handy item to have!

Very good product, but works better if you coat with waterproofing spray.

You can them even more waterproof if you spray them with nikwax.

I had one of these for a number of years, very practical and clubs much more accessible.
However, I lost it on a trip to Portugal earlier this year. So I ordered the Stadry bag towel that looks almost identical ..... but it is not the same product - the exterior is fabric as well as the inside. It is also smaller than the old Dri-hood so doesn't really cover the clubs properly. Now, it is a Stadry product so should be waterproof ... but ... the carabiner is located in the "closed" corner where the seams meet, so you can't clip it on to the top of your bag and pull it over the clubs, it has to sit on the clubs without being attached - it's just going to fall off!
So I want to get a replacement Drihood like my old one, but it seems now not available in the UK - please help Titleist (cally sell one but I don't want a cally hood covering my AP2's, Vokeys and Scotty!!!

    Lethbridge,

I have had one for a number of years they are the best. It always attached to my bag.
  13. Yeah, I've had one for years and it is particularly handy if, like me, you aren't keen on bag covers.
You can throw it on and off on it's clip and get full access to the clubs without fiddling with zips or interference from the bag cover.
I have to say, mine seems reasonably waterproof - the towelling is handy for drying off your club head (I tend to use a wet cloth for an initial wipe to remove soil/sand)

Good call Martin. I've had one for a couple of years and they're so convenient to keep clipped to the bag unlike the hoods. I've added a carabiner to the hook to give it a little more reach and save the plastic hook from breaking.

I got the new StaDry one for a birthday present and I love it! The only difference is with that older one you could use it as a hood while it was clipped to the bag but the new clip is at the very top centre so it’s not attached when your using it as a hood, it’s still amazing though!

No idea why Titleist stopped making these, they're so good and seem to be really popular!

Mines arrived today but it’s not the same as the one in the pic as it seems to be all towel without the shiny water proof outer bit if you know what I mean. And the clips in a strange place I can’t seem to work out where to clip it?
