    TT,

    I am heading down to Sea Island in August for a little birthday golf trip. I have the Retreat and Plantation course booked. Is there anything I should do/check out when I'm down there?

    they have a bagpipe player at sunset each day in front of the putting green. Very cool…check it out!

    Plantation is Awesome! If you like barbecue, you need to go to Southern Soul. Halyards is my favorite restaurant on the island! Have fun & stay hydrated and cool!

    Jim - Thanks for that recommendation. I will absolutely have to check that out. I'm staying at the Inn so I plan on getting some pool time after the rounds to cool off!

    Color my jealous. Make sure to check out the Men's Locker Room at the Lodge; they don’t call it “the greatest locker room in golf” for nothing.

    Also, Tavola and the Colt & Alison rank high on my list of favorite restaurants.

    Plantation is terrific…huge practice putting green and the clubhouse is great. Agree with the Men’s locker room, more of a private tavern feel than a actual locker room. Food onsite was was also very good. Enjoy!
