  1. Hello Team,

Can’t wait for the season to start! I have a question for all you who dwell or frequent Atlanta often. I have a bachelor party coming up in May and I am looking for some good course recommendations in the immediate ATL area. We are staying downtown off Peachtree and are relying on Uber to get us from course to course. Looking for some quality suggestions that won’t break the bank. We are looking to stay in the $50-70 range.

Unfortunately, East Lake is not an option :(

If anyone has a must play down there, I would love to hear about it!

I have the good fortune that one of my sons loves me enough to give me his second lottery ticket on Saturday at the Master's. We're going to do a father-son round while in GA. Went here -

and found Forest Hills in Augusta and they are already booking during the Master's week. Too far to Uber from Hotlanta, but there are several closer to the city. Searching "public golf Atlanta" listed several area reviews.

Know we have a member of two who live in that area that can help you out... =)
  4. Make sure to check out Stone Mountain, 20 minutes outside of Atlanta. They have two courses, the Stonemont and Lakemont. I played a lot of high school golf on these courses and both offer unique challenges. Typically you will find them in great shape. Rates are very reasonable.
  5. The Heritage Golf Links, is also a good option.
