    and I'm tired

Last night the weather for today was supposed be raining, so I got up and checked the weather again, supposed to start raining at 10am, so off to the course I go about 7:45.

Round 1 78, 41-37, 8 fairways 8 greens (score should be lower with that many greens), 32 putts 4 of 9 up and downs

    Round 2 79, 38-41, 8 fairways 5 greens, 29 putts, 7 of 11 up and downs

    Round 3 80, 41-39, 5 fairways 10 greens (yes thats 10 and I still scored 80), 34 putts, 1 of 4 up and downs

Round 2 and the front of round 3 was without driver, that little stay in the trunk got my driver working much better.

Round 3 I couldn't putt, but hole 17 was 1 of only 2 birdies for the day, both birdies were long putts, had several under 10ft but just couldn't make them.

The weather report now says rain at 6pm, its 5:40 and it has gotten dark.

Supposed to rain all day tomorrow, hope they are just as wrong as they were today.

    Hi John,

I'm sure you were tired. In February,  myself and 23 others participated in a charity fundraiser with Adam Scott.

Each of us completed 100 holes in a day and it took us over 12 hours to do it. Adam played 65 holes and spent a few holes with each of us. It was an awesome day.

Are the any other Team Titleist professionals out there that think they could beat that effort?

    Wow, 100 holes.

On the 3rd round I was having a hard time with putting, a couple 3 putts, 2 putts that should have been 1 putt, basically because I couldn't get the ball to the hole. wonder if I could putt at all after 100 holes. When I quit they were forming  another round, I kinda wanted to play but I didn't think I could swing the club for another round.

I got plenty stiff last night, went bed at 9:30, feel ok now. 100  holes, I'd probably have a hard time driving home.

Of course I don't know, but Adam Scott seems like one of the better tour players to play with.

I've always thought a round with Mr. Jacobson would be fun.

I doubt I could top 100, but I would love to try! I've walked 54 once and I felt like a bag of hammers afterward.
36 with a nice intermission is my idea of heaven.

I walked 54 once(about 15 yrs ago), that was the first and last time, well with a push/pull cart it wouldn't be as bad. Next day at work I swore I'd never do that again. That was a up down course, 1 hole was level, my course now has a little up down, not too much.

    Hi Quintin

I know what you mean. Being tired - on the 22nd of December 10 of us player 4 rounds in a day.  All of us was carrying the bag.  And the two first round was very hilly.   We played in Dunedin to sure we had enough day light.  We played four different golf course: Taieri, Balmacewen, St Clair, Chisholm Park.   Because of this we had to tee off just before 5 am.  We finished around 21:15 and man! was I tiered afterwards.

You know the funny things, my best round was the last round where I shot 76 and the other round 81, 79 and 79.

While we playing our 2nd round at Balmacewen golf course we played through the guys who have a different golf course everyday for a year all around the world. Pretty cool - we actually managed to get a honourable mention in the local paper :-)

That was a great day.  Certainly ready to do it again coming December.

We finished at Velvet Burgers with a couple of well earned beers

    Cheers
