    Hey Folks, what's your favorite golf irons you've ever used ? I've been playing miz for a while when I started playing Golf, then the Titleist AP2 for almost 8 years, I LOVE THEM ! and the new CB since few months.

    I must admit that my all time favorite irons were the original Hogan Edge irons from 1989 which were the first forged cavity back irons. Purists didn't like the thick top line and wider sole but I thought they looked and felt great. Had them for 8 or 9 years then gave them away to one of my nephews.

    like you i liked the Hogan EDGE GS irons and had different other Hogan sets till the company went down.
    My favourite irons now are the AP2. From the original to 710, 712, 714 and current AP2 716. I feel no different from the 716 compared to 718 but will try the T100 and T200 irons soon.

    The Edge GS came out a few years later and were a little different. I'm talking about the original Edge irons from 1989 which was the first year Hogan introduced them.

    PRGR ---- 716 CB ---- AP3

    The AP3 with N.S.Pro MODUS3 (almost) makes it feel like forged. I couldn't be happier.

    Have to go with my AP2s. Have had them since launch and just like all other Titleist products, with time becomes a more refined tool to help you lower your scores

    Mine were my old Titleist Tour Blades circa 1978! Still have them and break them out once in a while but difficult to hit these days..

    Hey Mike M, I still have the same set in my garage along with the earlier version Wilson Staff tour blade muscle back. Just can't make them hit the ball the way they did back in the day!
