Well it appears winter isn't over yet here in New England. Predicting another 2-4" of snow next week BUT i'm lucky enough to have a garage with tall ceilings so i can keep practicing and keep the arms loose... I bought the net and mat last year and finally got around to putting it all together a few weeks ago.. having a blast!!

Now if I only had a trackman to go with it...

Does anyone else practice indoor (minus the putting of course)?

Here's a pic of my setup, poor picture quality but i'm sure you get the idea :)

    Chris,
Nice set-up. It certainly is a great way to get swings in while you're waiting for warmer/dryer weather. Do you shoot videos of your swing? My garage ceiling is high enough, but I just go to a covered-heated range that is close to me (but we don't typically get all the snow you get in the Northeast). Our temps are starting to moderate, but now it's just the rain every few days that keeps me off the course. Hopefully your weather will also start to moderate soon and you can get back out on the course again.

I have a net and mat in my basement. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that I only had 8' ceilings when I bought the house, so I'm confined to half swings. My kids love it though.

I've got a set-up in the garage too. What I found is something like a Swingbyte or something like it helps to pass the long winter sessions and keep some semblance of a decent swing. I have a 10'x10'x10' cage but it still doesn't give you any sense of ball flight.
I have a bunch of pool noodles too and with a couple of pieces of PVC pipe you can make some pretty cool alignment and plane aids.

I now only have an indoor putting green, Christopher. But your hitting net is much nicer than what I had. It's great to have one.
    Keep warm!

The perfect accessory for any living room - rolls about a STIMP 11 on hardwood.

No garage set up for me just yet. #CondoLife . I take my practice from indoor range to outdoor heated range and back into simulators. In the Northeast, we have to continue to switch it up to keep from going stir crazy! Cheers!

I do not have a garage, so I have to settle hitting in the yard off of this fresh new 3 inches of new snow here in the Berkshires of New England!!!! I did get in 6 rounds in March at the golf course!!!!!! More snow coming into tomorrow. Enjoy your garage!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a couple of different putting set ups but nothing like you. Great set up!
  11. Wow, I have been thinking about this since I have 20' clearance in my garage! What net do you recommend ?

unfortunately my garage ceiling is too short for full swings and I'm unwilling to keep my car outside during the new england winters. In stead, I'm considering a heavy duty car port in the backyard for the snow season.

I have a full set up in my garage always good to at least get some swings in the winter months.
