Hi TT members, With the Masters only a couple of weeks away who do the members of the TT community think will win the Masters bar the usually suspect (McIroy, Spieth etc) and give a reason why they think that player will win.

I have Scott and Bubba above Spieth at the moment, since they are playing so much better. If Ricky,Rose or DJ can avoid the big rounds, they could prove dangerous.

Bubba Watson first, then Adam Scott and then RM. With Bubba's head being currently in his game at the moment he is tough to beat with his length and ability to work the ball.

I like Fowler this year. It would be awesome to see Spieth go back to back and I will surely root for him. Wouldn't mind Bubba either. I'm afraid Adam Scott peaked a little early, but he is playing very well of late, so, who knows? Justin Thomas may be in the mix as well. If I had to bet money, I think I'd put some on Fowler and some on Spieth. If it comes down to the two of them, I really don't know who I'd be rooting for. Probably Jordan 'cause he's a Titleist guy all the way. It would be an historical accomplishment too. Plus, as much as I do like Ricky, I can do without those velcro-ankled pants and high top shoes.

Hi thanks for the post..I won with Speith last yr going off at 12 to 1. So I have a good feeling that Rickie Fowler is going to win he's first major! With finishes of tied for 2nd and 12th the last few yrs..I believe he's due for the win this yr. Good luck Rickie make us a winner!

    Grindelwald,

Rickie seems to be very hot on winning his first major
For the moment Spieth's putter seemst o be colod, but I have him still high in contention
Bubba and Scott will also end up in the top 10 I would say

I'm really feeling Fowler this year. Adam Scott is hard to argue against, but Fowler is playing so well. Recently he seems to have a lil luck too. Did you see his ace at Els' autism tournament? I think it's his year

The usual guys playing well right now, obviously Adam Scott, and maybe Fowler. Spieth did run away in Hawaii, so I wouldn't count him out. Another notable that I think always has a chance is Zach Johnson.

I have to root for Spieth, too much upside but he hasn't been playing as great lately. I like Adam Scott for a repeat, he's in good form this year. Ricky is looking better and this would be a great break through for him.

Hello Karl M. I'm rooting for Spieth. Just love the fact we have the same woods in our bags. When you stop and think about it, they are all winners. Playing at Agusta, c'mon. There are a handfull of players that you could argue over right now. Bubba, Fowler, Scott, we could go on all day. Only wish I could go and watch. Won't miss a minute of it on T.V. Hope all TT members enjoy it as much.
    Play Well,

Augusta National draws out the weakest points of every professionals' game, making it difficult to rule out. The four guys I'm looking for at the top of the leaderboard might surprise you, or at least two of them. I think Spieth is too competitive to not make a run at it again this year, and Adam Scott is showing true promise where he has been weakest, his putting. The other two are Sergio Garcia and Phil Mickelson. These two are very vulnerable on this course with their below average putting, but if the flat stick gets hot for either of them, I wouldn't be surprised to see them on the first page of the leaderboard on the weekend. Sergio is too good of a player to not have a major if he keeps his emotions in check and Phil a hall of fame who has been playing well as of late, just lacking the push to finish tournaments, where I feel majors will push him to that upper echelon play.

Scott's putting is not quite up to snuff for Augusta unless he turns it on. I think Spieth is not doing well right now, so we'll see what happens. Rickie possibly, but I usually wait until the week before to decide.

other than the usual augusta suspects , I am throwing Stenson and yes Garcia as my dark horse. Stenson is playing really well right now , and I think it's his time for a major this year. Sergio plays well at augusta, and he keeps getting closer and his chances at major are running out
