My foursome finally got out today. It was about 42 degrees when we went off. The courses up here are still in winter condition, but we were able to get 18 in. Spring will be here in the blink of an eye. We were all a little rusty, but who cares. That will shake off in no time. Hope some of the TT members here in the north east were able to do the same. Play Well, Steve S.

I was able to get out on Sunday. Rainy at first. Started out great out of the gate ... birdied #1 and then striped one down the fairway on #2. Made 3 birdies on the front but with 2 doubles :( Really started to lose it off the tee ... had no idea why. But my irons & short game were on point. 2 more birdies on the back to go with another double. Ended up with 38 - 37 for a nice 75 in February. It was great to get out and try to get the rust off. The only good thing about the winter is that I get to practice the short game and putting in the Man Cave! And so far it's paying off. Can't wait for spring to get here.

Hey chris b, Glad you were able to get out. Winter is the time to practice. I've been working in my irons and short game myself. At least we got out.

Taking off work Monday afternoon to get out for first time since Christmas with our regular foursome. Looking forward to it but maintaining reasonable expectations. Just like spring training; about working into shape, not results/scores.

Hello Jim K. We were lucky to get out both days this weekend. Played at the Vineyards at Renault Winery on Saturday, and our home course on Sunday. It is still winter golf, so we are still shaking off the rust as well. Not going to ruin a club because of a tree branch or stump. Roll it over. It is all about good contact, and driving it down the middle. Greens are still a little rough too. Still great to just get out. Spring will be here in the blink of an eye.
    Play Well,
    Steve S.
