Hey everyone, whats your best tip or drill to get better during the winter or offseason months. Mostly indoors,

I fight grip problems so i have a club cut down and make sure to grab it whenever i have time be sure to hold it with good fundamentals!  That way when the season is ready to start again, a good fundamental grip feels comfortable and at home!

    What about you guys?

I keep a putter and some Pro V 1's in the library. I putt all year long, then again in Fl. it isn't really winter more then 3 days in a row. Hit um straight, Dave...

Working on my posture and address...   Got lessons last year and the Pro gave me a great drill to do 5 minutes a day to help with my posture.  It certainly helped my game last summer and I'll continue doing it this winter..

Also bought a round net and a golf mat to take some swings in the garage.  My garage is big and wide enough to take some full swings...   Just need to find a little heater to keep me warm :)

And as always, I stretch and workout during the off season to keep my old self in shape...

Love the idea to convert the garage into a mini-practice area. The wheels are turning.

Work on getting my club in correct position at impact with a club I cut down to avoid divots in ceiling and putting.  Follow the Hank Haney advise on 100 swings a day to create muscle memory and repetitive square club face.

100 swings a day for me, and I have a practice putting green in my Family Room , spending quite a bit of time each night working on between 3 - 5 ' putts .

I'm in the same boat as you, Paul. My plan is to work on putting throughout the winter this year. I have a Big Moss green in the basement and I spend as much time as possible working on 6 to 8 footers. I've been listening to Dr. Bob Rotella's audiobook "Putting Out of Your Mind" lately and will be working a lot of his advice into my practice. Cheers, Mike

Swing and keep swinging away! For those TeamTitleist Members close to me in the Boston Area, if your itching to hit balls indoors, I invite to join me at The Marina Bay Sportsplex in Quincy, MA. It is a great way to keep tuned up. Also, there are 2 simulators available to tee it up! Or maybe we should have a TT get together in the area to play some indoor golf and have a Titleist convention! These types of events are awesome as it allows us TT members to jump through our laptop and smartphone screens and come to life! Hope to see you awesome people soon!

I bought an Optishot "simulator" that I originally plugged into my laptop in my garage. I also put up a pop-up net from Skillz (iirc). I was working on a swing change and live 15 minutes from my club. Eventually, I installed an overhead projector and an eight-foot screen. I run the laptop via HDMI to the projector---and now have my own digital driving range with some amount of feedback from the Optishot. I do use the "AlmostGolf" balls to keep noise and damage down to a minimum. I also play full rounds on it from the available courses. I do not use it to putt (Big Moss is great for that).

I have an 8 x 18 putting green in the basement which gets used year round, but more in the winter months, and I practice a lot of chip shot onto a bean bag from 15 feet varying the trajectory.

I work from home and spend a LOT of time practicing my putting....not just in the winter but throughout the year. I mainly focus on putts 10 feet and under - alignment, hitting my spots and speed control. I also have the space to do some longer putting and some chipping from one room to the other. Again, focus here is mainly hitting my spots and varying trajectory.

I love the idea of a net in the garage or basement to bring some full swings in to the mix. Some day I hope to do that.

I'm in the process of cleaning/remodeling my basement. It's mainly for a play room for my kids, but I'm also going to add a man cave/office area for me. The plan is to put a putting green in there. Until then, I will occasionally line up in front of a mirror to check my alignment and posture, and exercise to try not to lose any flexibility.

Go buy a package of those soft rubber golf balls sold in the golf area of most sports stores or a dedicated golf store. You can practice with these inside your home without breaking anything using your wedge. I have a lab dog who loves to play golf with me and she retrieves my chips that start in the living room, cross through the foyer and lands in the dinning room. Also get one of those putting mats that has an automatic ball return. These usually roll out to about 9 feet. Putting and chipping during golf down time will really keep your game sharp.
