I want to thank all who have already posted and those who will be posting for their service!!! My 18yo brother has enlisted in the Navy and is leaving tomorrow for basic. He was a strong baseball player/pitcher and it was AMAZING to watch him take control of the mound when they put him in. He had a full scholarship but felt a greater calling and enlisted in the Navy with the determination to become a SEAL. Although he is a hack and is all over the course...we have enjoyed many rounds together and i'm sure many more to come.
Thanks again to all who have/are/will serve!!!

A day late, but I served almost 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, as a Munitions Specialist, Command Support Staff NCOIC, and Weapons Safety Manager. Spent time all around the world, and sure glad I did it. Met some of the best people I know during my time, and still talk with most of them to this very day.

Wanted to share this with everyone. Every Friday afternoon, New England PGA Professionals give free golf lessons to veterans at the Brockton VA in Brockton, Massachusetts. They have a putting green and an area where they can learn chipping, pitching, bunker play as well as the full swing. So for those that can't make it to a golf course, keep this in mind.
Each year on Veteran's day, PGA Professional Bob Beach (Braintree Municipal) puts on several free clinics for Veterans as well. This year, despite a nor'easter that hit the area, several veterans still came. Here are a couple of pics from the day.
