I know this is off topic and not trying to kiss a** here, but as i see a lot of golf manufacturers release new clubs every other week it must drive those loyal fans nuts.  I mean how can they keep up?

This is why I love Titleist.  IMO, they seem to have a similar plan to Apple b/c of the way they release new products.  How often does Apple release their products, once a year or maybe once every other year?  I like that,  makes me excited to see that new product.  And that's when you know they've worked extremely hard to make this product the best.  Not only that but it gives you time to enjoy the product you just bought and not regretting or wishing you had waited a week or two for something newer.  That would drive me mental.

I'll be honest, i used to be loyal to png but that changed a few years ago when i got my hands on the 710, fell in love with that and got the 712 and then got my 714..  Won't tell you how I got the 714s but let's just say it was hands down the best golf experience I ever had.

I only hope Titleist continues what they're doing..  It's working.

    Cheers

That is a great comparison. I think the way titleist releases it's new products tells you that they really put a lot of effort and research into what they are wanting to accomplish. I am wanting to upgrade my driver, fairway and hybrids and am torn between getting the 913's or waiting a couple months for the new 915's. I feel like I can't go wrong either way because I know the titleist quality and backing are there.

We really are preaching to the choir here. I really appreciate that the equipment is what matters. $400 drivers are not like $50 shirts to buy new apparel every year - certainly not for this community. Having the compounded situation of being LH, most lines of most companies have limited options. Just one example of many, went to a Miz demo, and there was only one LH 6I head that wasn't broken. To compare, the Tour Van has all the lofts and grinds in stock ready to fit. Ok, the other companies' setups are free but worth every penny and not a penny more. Being a senior and LH, I've been offered "the LH graphite set" in stock and a lie check. Full fittings aren't possible since there is incomplete LH equipment available even for the limited LH options.
  4. Great example....I agree taking one's time to develop the best and most consistent equipment is why there are so many loyal followers at Titleist!
