    Hey Team Titleist,

With the Open Championship getting underway this week we thought it would be a great chance for everyone to share their Open Championship traditions. I know I really like waking up in the morning and turning on the TV to find live golf on Saturday and Sunday. And the best part is after the round is over there is still plenty of time to get a quick 18 in.

So tell us about your traditions. Do they involve watching early morning coverage? Maybe you make the extra effort to play some links style golf that weekend?

We look forward to hearing your stories.

    Talk soon,

I love the early morning coverage.  I tend to wake up way earlier than my wife appreciates and watch the coverage with copious amounts of coffee.  Afterwards I'm always jazzed up to play.

I always to try to play a links course at least one of the days.  We have an awesome links set up just south of Boston called Granite Links.  It's a true test.  Something about watching all those bump and runs makes me want to battle the wind and hit some worm burners.  Additionally I'll game my Scotty Yellow Subs cover all weekend.  It's the best Open cover ever IMO.

Love the Open!  One reason why is b/c of how early the coverage is on.  I'm a morning person so I love this.

Thursday and Friday i'm streaming it online at work (my boss is a big golf fan so he's ok with it).  Then Saturday and Sunday, i'm up as early as 5 a.m. with a XL Dunkin Donuts coffee ready to watch some Open.  It doesn't get any better than that.

Depending on the family and what's going on  I definitely try to get out and play.  If not, I'll hit the range with my little guy and we'll whack some balls.

The other tradition is getting my Scotty Cameron Open cover.  Fingers cross.

I'll be cheering on Adam Scott..  Love to see him win it.

Always loved watching the Open Championship. Up early watching the TV coverage with pots of coffee and being alone.

Along with the joy of watching Professional's deal with the elements that us mere mortals play in; wind, cold weather, dry & hard fairways, and unpredictable bounces.

I'm an early riser by nature and love watching the Open live after a big breakfast.  Last weekends Scottish Open was great with even more to come this weekend.  I like watching the best playing the links courses, they don't appear to be so programmed on each shot.  They get bad bounces, bad lies, and have to play out of some wicked rough, not like on most of the manicured courses they usually play.  Seems like the TV camera setups are better on links courses.  This is the tournament I never miss.

Waking up to Live golf is awesome. I realize you can get some European tournaments from time to time, but the Open is certainly special, as it's the 3rd major of the year.  I have always liked TW and what he had done for the game of golf. Having his exemption extended for this one just makes it a little more special and I can't wait to watch.  I will be pulling for him

i have never made it across the pond, so maybe some day down the road I will get my chance. It would be a dream come true to someday play St. Andrews w my dad and son....bucket list I guess
