When I first starting hitting the Pro VI with my new wedges i was getting a great deal of spin and was able to stop the ball in an area near where I was visualizing it. Now that I have had my wedges for about 18 months I find that i am getting more spin and control from my short irons like my 9 thru 7 than I am with my wedges. Is this a problem with my swing speed or is it something else like the age of the wedges?
