What are some ways that I can use my practice time wisely and get as much out of it as i can. ie. building muscle memory etc. Any tips, drills, opinions, etc are welcome. Thanks so much.

wow, instantly theres a million things running through my head. i personally take a club in the house and while watching tv and what not do about 100 swings a night.

Some slow deliberate swings to build muscle memory. Half swings, Dropping it in the slot holding that position, then go to finish.

I will take bits and pieces of your swing and hold for a few seconds and then complete the swing. Will also take some full swings and full speed.

There are a bunch of tips and drills that i learned while playing college golf for on the range if you want to know a couple of thsoe let me know and id be happy to share with you. Let me know what your trying to accomplish and build on.

I'm interested in your drills Neil.  I'm looking to build consistency and be a better all around ball striker.  If my irons feel good, and my driving is on point, inevitably my wedge game goes south or vice versa.  I can't seem to get all of these aspects in line.  It's usually only one aspect of my game that just feels foreign for the round.  The next round my wedges are dialed in, my ball is in the fairway, and I'll start hitting my irons fat.  It's pretty frustrating.  The only thing I can count on all the time is my putter.   Any ball striking drills would be very appreciated.

    Thanks

First of all, the most important thing on the full swing is tempo and starting the ball on-line. For starting the ball on-line use this drill that Rickie Fowler came up with. Take 2 alignment sticks and place them 4-6 inches apart  sticking straight up from the ground and put them 7-8 feet in front of you. try to hit the ball directly through the sticks. For tempo and muscle memory: Swing a weighted club in Slow motion every day and make sure you get your body in the right positions. This is a great way to spend your practice time well. I do these drills all the time and I am 13. I have been playing a little under a year put I am already a 7 handicap thanks to these drills.

Great posts. If you have not taken lessons I suggest taking them and stick with one swing. It is ok to try to hit little draws and fades, But do not bounce around with trying to swing this way and then that way. If you bounce around you will do it the rest of your life and you will not be a steady player.
