Saw a story about shipping your golf clubs back and forth for golf trips instead of hauling them through airports, car rental etc. Any experiences (good or bad) thay you care to share? Recommendations?

It's a great strategy based on most airlines baggage policies. Pay $25 to get your clubs to your destination ahead of time. No travel cover, no TSA, no airline handling. Then you have plenty of room for normal luggage. FedEx and UPS provide tracking numbers so you know where/when your clubs are delivered. Get a solid cardboard box with a good fit and your chances of a great experience far outweigh any chance of things going badly. Safe travels!
