  1. I began playing this sacred game on February 22 2024, I grew up my whole life playing travel baseball and for years after ending that career I was lost in creative ways to still be competitive athletically. I live in the middle of Indiana where there isn’t much opportunity to explore new opportunities but somehow I was still able to find my passion and love for this game. I got a cheap pair of clubs from the local goodwill and spent every day for the next 3 months at any driving range I could find. It took that 3 months for me to even build up the courage to walk into a pro shop and ask to go out on my first round. I felt too much joy swinging the club to limit myself though and wether I was going to embarrass myself or just end up being awful I couldn’t care less, I needed to see what this game was about and I thank god I did because my life has completely changed entirely for the better all because of this game. I started getting a minimum of 5 rounds in a week and some weeks I played as many as 9. I would play the same course (Idle Cree Golf Course) and I really started getting a lay of the land over there and every round I pushed myself to be better and better and one round on 10/29/2024 it all came together and I finished my round on hole 18, pin sitting on the other side of a tree line on a dogleg left hole. It only sits 275 from the tee box on a direct line and I’ve gotten over those trees about 75% of the time I take them on and I’d been swinging it great that day. I launch my drive over the trees, hear a solid thud that couldn’t be a tree, my buddy takes an iron off the tee then has about 130 to the pin so I’m riding through with him waiting for him to get to the green as well and as we’re riding up we can’t find my ball. He’s still short so I drop him there and I drive to the back of the green and still no ball so I run to the hole on just a pray and incredibly my titleist 1 was sitting in the bottom of the cup!
