We had played Bandon Trails in the morning and it wasn't pretty. After lunch, we (Dale Vinson, Steve and Chaston Rooks and myself) decided to head over to the practice facility and play Charlotte's, the nine hole par three course. My game continued to be off, was leaving everything short it felt like. When we reached the 9th hole, Steve shot the pin at 150ish yards which is a 6 iron for me. Since I'd been short all day, I went with the 5 just because. That was the flushest iron shot I think I've ever hit. Didn't even feel the ball. We all watched the ball track on line with the flag and watched it bounce. Finally, green in reg. Couldn't see the bottom of the flag. When we got to the green, no ball. I was sure the ball must have rolled off somewhere (because that's usually what happens). Figured what the heck, look in the hole. Yup, there it was. It was great to share it with good friends at a bucket list resort. I always read these posts about first timers and say "so you say there's still a chance". I'm here to say that yes there is, so don't give up. T350 5 iron, Pro V1 Left Dot
