Playing our local Ballina Golf Course here down under today I had my 1st Hole in One! It was on number 17 (Our 8th hole on the day). That's not the unbelievable part.

I was playing in a Thursday Medley competition which is similar to a Men's day event where scorecards are exchanged, so pretty official. Most golf in Australia is played in some form of competition format. In any case my playing partner, Tony, hit first with a good looking shot towards left side of green where pin is but being severe uphill 125 yard par 3 it was hard to see it finish, but he showed me the way. I then hit with lower but good shot towards the left side of green, Gavin, other player remarks I think it may be in! Gavin then hits nice high shot to middle of green just right of pin. Gavin in cart is 1st up above the green (Tony and I are walking) and as he is walking back towards hole he says there are 2 balls in the hole. Tony had hole in one and I hit mine in on top with consecutive shot.
