Honestly.. in my mind I had always hoped my first hole in one would be at a special place, a well struck ball, from a good distance and that I could see it go in... Well.. Dreams do come true! hahaha. Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to play The Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus NJ. My first time there and I had been looking forward to it for some time. The place did not disappoint. From the club house to the mens grill, the locker room to the course and the unbelievable conditions I couldn't have been happier. Then.. it happened. We roll up to the 6th hole East course (there are 3 9's at Ridgewood). the hole is playing 204 with a little helping wind. I grab my 6 Iron and hit a nice flushy baby draw. In the air my buddy yells.. That could go in.. We watch it land 10 feet short and roll up right to left and disappear.. we are screaming.. the caddie runs down and gets almost 3/4 of the way there and yells "ITS IN"! I get down there and run up to the hole. The feeling I had when I saw that Titleist 1 with my blue dot looking up at me is unbeatable!!!!
