We had an unseasonably beautiful weekend in northern Michigan for a long weekend of golf. We played A-Ga-Ming, Belvedere, Bay Habor, and Shanty Creek.

In the afternoon of 10/4/25, we were playing the Links/Quarry course at Bay Harbor Golf Club in Bay Harbor, MI this past Saturday. I hit a well-struck 8-iron into the green of Quarry #2 (173 yards). Just as I was saying "no, i think its going to be short" we heard the pin rattle. While my playing partners were all convinced that I dunked it, I would not believe it until I saw that beautiful Titleist AVX #2 sitting at the bottom of the cup.

No ball marks, no roll on the green, just a pure dunk that miraculously stayed in the cup.

*Naturally, my game fell apart immediately after and I went triple-bogey, double-bogey on the following two holes.
