Playing in a tournament, I arrived at hole 5, my 18th hole of the day. The hole was 184 yards into the wind but slightly downhill. Yanked my trusty T-150 5i out of the bag and asked a simple question of my playing partners. "Is the rule you must buy drinks for your group or the whole bar when making a hole in one?" Never thinking I would make one but merely to spark discussion from a post I had seen. I got two different responses. After watching the ball take one bounce and fall in, I went with buying the whole bar a round. Memory of a lifetime.
