Playing with my friend I’ve known since first grade. I at the time was 58 years old . Got to the third hole at Gardner Muni golf course. I shot the distance at 216 yards. Hole plays slightly down hill . I figured 200 yards would give me a run at the front of the green . I hit my shot and I went straight at the pin. We watched it hit the front area of the green and then disappear. Never playing the course and this my first time there. Thought it might be hidden on a hill or collar we couldn’t see . Went up to hit our second shots and we couldn’t find my ball anywhere. My friend Dave said I’m looking in the cup . Low and behold it was sitting at the bottom of the cup. Dave looked at me and with a big smile said “ it’s right here in the cup . You got a hole in one “ I told him to stop screwing around. He repeated a little louder with a huge grin . It’s right here . I went over looked in and we started to celebrate. It was unreal.
