Luke Goins is a 7-year old left-handed golfer from Cary, NC who has been swinging a golf club since he was 1 year old, started into group lessons at 4 years old and began his journey in competitive golf as a kindergartener, at 6 years old! He has participated in over 20+ competitive events over the past year and has seen his scores drop from 65 in his first event to his tournament low of 38 and shoots today between 38-43 most rounds. His progression in junior golf has been extremely positive. He is a Titleist loyalist, just like me (his Dad) and he plays either a Pro-V1x or a TruFeel.
Yesterday at MacGregor Downs CC in the Parent-Child Tournament, Luke pulled a 7 iron on the 77 yard, 4th hole and proceeded to hit one of the most beautiful golf shots I have ever seen! His ball was hit perfectly, never left the pin, landed 8-10 feet short of the flag and rolled directly into the cup! Filled with excitement, Dad, Luke and younger brother Ty took off running to the green all while Mommy, sister and big brother recorded the event for us to enjoy forever!
Luke was playing a Titleist TruFeel #3 ball, wearing his Titleist hat & Foot joy golf shoes when he hit the shot heard around our club over the past 24 hours! It was easily the greatest shot of Luke's young golf career and one of the most beautiful shots I have ever witnessed. We uploaded the photo and video to his instagram golf account which is @lukegoinsgolf
When I was a little boy, everyone dreamed of having the Titleist hole in 1 plaque, so, I wanted to reach out to see what if any options were available for me to purchase for him;) Thank you, Randy
