My first every Hole in One this weekend on a club trip to Carden Park, first day we played the Nicklaus Course. I was having a good round despite missing a couple of makable putts. we came to the 16th a par 3 with water to the left pin at the front left, I was between a 9 & PW decided on the 9 but moved it back a bit on the tee. Nice steady swing the ball set off bang on line, 1 of our 4 ball said that's right down the flag, it landed 2-3 yards short of the flag and ran up to the hole and disappeared. We went mad jumping around hi 5's, belly bounces the lot, other groups in our party heard and saw us and guessed what had happened, 1 of them even said they got goosebumps watching us celebrate.

The only downside was that I was not allowed to buy a bottle of whiskey in the club house to celebrate with the rest of the party (their loss) Luckily there was a co-op where I could get one. following our evening meal I put the bottle on the table and everyone raised a toast.
