I had a 9 iron in my hand, which is the club I normally use at 140 yards, the yardage i got from my partners was 138 to the pin, but I had come up short on a couple of shots with my nine, so i decided to hit a smooth 8 iron, I hit the shot, it was a little right of the pin but drawing in, the ball hit about 15 feet from the hole, bounced once and rolled towards the hole and disappeared. My first hole-in-one!
