Got my second HIO yesterday with a Titleist Pro-V1 during Thursday Night Men's League. The 3rd hole at the Preserve at Jordan lake is a par three with a pond in front that really shouldn't come into play. The green is protected by bunkers left and right, OB also right and a creek further left. Yesterday, from the blues the 3rd was playing 166 with a front right pin. Hit a tight draw with a 7 iron (also a Titleist - T200) that landed just short of the green on the fringe...We couldn't actually see the hole so we didn't see it go in, but we all assumed it would be on the green in a good spot. When I got to the green, I looked around and couldn't see the ball anywhere. I very reluctantly walked up to the hole and peeked inside. Seeing your ball - especially with Titleist 1 logo facing up - in the cup is a surreal feeling that's hard to explain. Needless to say, I was extremely excited as were my playing partners. The bar tab stung a little since it was TNML but worth every penny.
