My name is Logan Robinson. After 27 years of living on this green earth and 13 of them being the amount of years I’ve played golf…it finally happened. HOLE IN ONE.
On a beautiful mid week round of golf after work (as I do on occasion), me along with three other of my good friends go to walk 9 to enjoy the good weather and hit a few good shots. Overall the round went decent. I shot a 42 with an ugly triple and a double that could have easily been cleaned up.
We pull up to the 8th hole which was a par 3 playing 155 from our tee box. I’m not afraid to admit it, but I’ve never had the long ball…so I proceed to pull out my 7i and go through my pre shot routine. Baby fade into the green with a fair amount of dance floor to work with. As the ball was fading on its downward path to hit the green, it lands about 5 feet to the right, takes another hop and banks against the flag stick to drop in. Perfect view of the hole so we knew it immediately!
Needless to say, I respected and honored the tradition of any true golfer and bought beers for the boys after the round. I went to bed with a smile on my face and the sound of the crack of the pin as the ball hit it and dropped in.
Cheers!
