My son Andrew plays in Junior Events, and our home course recently opened a sister course on November 1, 2022. We had played it a few times and this par three is an interesting design. The hole itself is blind because of a hill leading up to the crest of the green, and over, that is a large sandtrap. You could tell when he hit it that is was going to be a great shot. When we walked up to the Green, you could not see his shot (My was off the green on the right as usual). As I was walking to my ball, I could not see his and started looking towards the hill. Just for fun, I looked in the cup and there it was! First hole in one at Highland Pines Golf Club!
