It was a windy July day in Northeast Wisconsin. I was on hole 6 on the blue nine at Mid Vallee. Playing with my boss from work I took a six iron from 186 yards. Knowing that the wind was blowing in from the right; heading left, I planned to play a cut back into the wind. After my boss hit, I approached the ball ready for what I thought was another shot in the round. Once I hit the ball, I saw it take off exactly how I wanted it to; working left to right, into the wind. I saw it hit the green near the pin and disappear. Now, being the pessimist I am, I thought the ball was long of the green. My boss did not see it the ending point was adamant it was in the hole. I just thought he was messing around and continued to walk past the hole to look for my ball. I did not make it off the green before he shouted to me saying it was in. I was in disbelief when he said it and denied it until I took it out of the hole.
