Been playing golf since I first started in 1968. Had a break of about 10 years when other life responsibilities limited the opportunities I had to play in the mid 90's through early 2000's.
Been a lifelong Titleist club and ball player, all except for my very first set of clubs.
Went out on July 4, 2022 to Stony Creek Metro Park Golf Course in Shelby Township, Mi.
I have played this course about a total of 4 times this year, as it is local to me, reminds me of "up north" Michigan with tree lined fairways and a challenging layout that plays about 6500 yards from the whites.
The course that day was full, as it was 88 degrees, sunny, with a light breeze.
Came to hole 11, a par 3 playing 146 yards into a slight wind. Took my T100 7 iron, and using a Pro V1, hit a shot that went straight towards the flag. landed about 4 feet from the hole, one hopped and then rolled in.
First ace ever since I started playing, and went into the clubhouse after the round was completed, filled out some documents for them to also have it publicized in our local newspaper.
Typically, I get in somewhere of 20 - 50 rounds per year, depends more upon weather and work schedule, but always have, and always will continue to use the best equipment for my game, which just happens to be Titleist.
