6/28/22- Hole #17 at Palatine Hills Golf Club in Palatine, Illinois. Was playing 132 yards and I used an 8-iron. The pin today was on a crest and the green dropped off from view behind it. As my ball disappeared after one hop, two of us thought it went over the crest and the other two thought it dropped in the pin. I actually took a putter up to the green to find my ball before the others told me to look in the cup. I’ve never had a hole in one before or even witnessed one live. Will never forget it and love that my best friend was with me when it happened!
