I was playing in the annual Fourball Tournament at The Kittasett Club in 2022 when on Saturday I came to the par 3, 3rd hole (their signature hole). It was 164 to the pin on this island green and our opponents had the honors. They each came up short left and short right (both in the sand). My playing partner teed up and hit his ball into the water. I told him "don't worry buddy, I've got us on this one". I hit my tee shot (9 iron) and it went up high and started to draw towards the hole, I was relieved that at least I'd be putting. The ball took two quick hops and my partner said "get in the hole" and it rolled for about two seconds and sunk out of sight. I screamed, dropped my club and jumped 10 feet in the air (it felt that high). I pulled off my hat, was jumping around high-fiving everyone hugging our caddy and my partner. The club was very gracious and gave me the flag from the pin later in the day and I have both score cards from our opponents and my team (we won the match). I used a ProV1 (#4) with my trusty red line on it. I never thought I'd have a hole-in-one and am still on cloud 9.
