  1. June 18, 2022 Snohomish Golf Course in Snohomish, Washington

It was a perfectly stereotypical northwest day. The weather was overcast and a tad humid but still cool with the occasional drizzle of rain. Just the right amount to get you pants muddy walking the course or pretend that you are competing on the final Sunday round at THE OPEN. I got to the course about 45 min early to stretch, hit a small bucket of balls, and get my chipping/putting dialed in. My Random Golf Club partner showed up and we made it to the first hit where I started my round in the middle of the fairway but with a bogey. Couple pars and bogeys later we find ourselves at the 7th hole, a 455 yard par 5. I activated my calves and absolutely piped a drive in the middle of the fairway to go on and snag my first bird of the day. At this point I'm feeling myself and talking my usual BS as we walk up to the 8th tee. The 8th hole at Snohomish Golf Course is a 156 yard par 3 going down hill with water on the back of the green, YOU CANNOT GO LONG. So accounting for the pretty drastic down hill slope I grabbed my P-wedge and waited while the group in front of us picked up and moved on. My partner hit his towering pitching wedge to within 3 feet, after watching and considering how well he hit it and how hard he swings I put the pitching wedge back in the bag and humbly club up to my 9 iron. I walk up to the gold tee markers and drop the ball on a good lie with no tee and take a couple of practice swings for tempo and step up to the ball. I took about a 3/4 back swing and caught ball just a hair thin but good enough to get it to GO! As it's in the air it begins to draw into the green from right to left and we're both looking thinking it's got a chance. The ball comes down and takes on bounce a little right of where the first shot was hit then sits, then rolls forward and breaks left towards the pin, then disappeared right where it pin is set for the day. We grabbed our push carts and sprinted down the hill trying not to fall down the hill or flip the push carts and finally get to the green to find the ball I hit IN THE CUP! I have other words for it but the most out of body and adrenaline rushing experiences of my life other than my wedding day. It was an absolute shocker, I went on to shoot a 91 but I finally got my ACE!

  2. I didn't use a titles but I do currently use, cherish, and love my Titleist 712 AP1 Irons that I got this ace with.
