Exactly two months ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My world collapsed in on me and I stopped playing golf. As a retired teaching pro and coach not playing was depressing. Once I got my head back on straight I started playing again in late May. I have played in high school, college, and even played for the United States Marine Corps golf team and never ever had a hole in one. I've been fortunate enough to have had 2 albatrosses. I started playing golf at the age of 12 and today June 17th at the age of 69 I had the most electrifying moment of my golf life. I often wondered what it would be like to have an ace, and this moment that has come for the first time, the only time, and the last time in my life is especially sweet for me. I play with a ProV1 with my birth year #52 and the American Flag on it. I am so grateful you cannot even imagine.
